Took pictures of my homegirl Michelle and her lovely boyfriend CJ this past weekend.
Our friend, Allie, let us take them on her ranch. How gorgeous is it?
Jillian came with us, too, acting as CPO (Chief Posing Officer).
Here’s some pictures of one of my favorite couples.
Seriously how cute are they? :)
Blessed to be able to take pictures of such beautiful people…even more blessed by their friendship. :)
Do you have favorite sounds? I do.
I think that it’s relaxing to quiet myself and my thoughts and just listen. Listen to the sounds around me and focus on whatever environment I’m in. Listening is my favorite way to get a perspective change. Taking a moment to quiet my soul and be influenced by sound always reminds me of how small a part I play in such a big world.
Some of my favorite sounds include the sound of waves crashing against rocks, babies giggling, and people singing.
One of my favorite sounds is happening right now.
The sound of hearing my friends have endless conversation flowing from one topic to the next. Listening to their thoughts and ambitions reminds me of how truly blessed I am.
It’s a sound of comfort, joy, and love.
It’s a sound of true friendship.
It’s a sound of God always knowing what my heart needs.

Today I’ve reflected on the power of words. The power to help, to heal, to encourage, to destroy, to love, to hate, to cause change, to bless others, and to reveal worlds all within us. Today has made me really think about the words I use. Are they always helping, healing, and encouraging? Or do they promote destruction and hate? I want to use my words to encourage others, lifting them up always. I want to use my words to be a clear picture of my heart, rather than cause confusion in my relationships with people. I want my words to reflect my character, even on the worst of days.
I’m thankful for the conversations that I’ve had lately. Conversations that aren’t the easiest, but the ones that I’ve prayed about having. Conversations that feel like 5 minutes, but actually end up lasting for hours. Conversations where my thoughts flow freely, with words pouring from me and my heart’s confusion explained through other’s thoughts. Conversations that change my perspective. Conversations that change others’ perspectives.
I am so encouraged by people in my life. People that know me and my heart. People that want the best for me. People who speak to my heart, without even knowing about it. People that I’ve been friends with for years and people that I’ve met recently. People who bless me with their words.

Got to see three friends last night that I haven’t seen in a long time! It’s nice to know that regardless of where we live, from Seattle, to LA, to SB, and here, the time we spend together is so fun :) I am blessed. I decided to bring my new Cannon Rebel, since I haven’t figured out all of the settings yet. Here’s a few of my favorite pictures from the night.
